Phil: Don't know if I know you from my days in Meriden, but again thanks a lot for linking us at Lancraft Fife and Drum Corps and Lacanne's Construction. I would have been in the clas of 1978 at Platt H.S. if I had not moved to Wallingford in 1973. I did however attend Lincoln Middle school, and also, the now gone Samuel Huntington on King Street, AKA The King Street School. "Meriden Where Have You Gone"?? Was doing some genealogy research for The Rev. Alfred L. Hubbard and his wife Julia E. Benjamin. I noticed "Hubbard Park" and I am very curious as to it's origin. My Great Grandfather served as Pastor of the "S.Meriden Methodist Episcopal Church" in 1932. He had a son (my Grandfather) Carleton F. Hubbard ( a Methodist Minister ). I believe they hail from the Hartford area.
